When I first saw Blade Runner, I was quite skeptical about how it would compare to the book. But, I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of Harrison Ford. He perfectly captures the essence of Deckard, and if one looks closely, you can see a resemblance to the illustration of Deckard on the cover of the book entitled (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep) to the actual looks of Harrison Ford. The movie started off slow, but quickly picked up the pace as soon as the other Blade Runner was killed. The movie began to get a little bit creepy towards the end because the last replicant and his "girlfriend replicant" begin to go a little bit crazy. All in all I give this movie a 5/5 and agree that it is a true classic sci-fi movie.
